Hello and welcome!

Shelby is a dedicated maker of costumes. She started her costuming journey by making clothing for her stuffed animals at age 6 and from there took a winding path to create costumes for stage and screen.

Her education started at Cypress Community College. Where She discovered costuming could be a career and not just a hobby. She worked as a costume design assistant under Rachael Lorenzetti and Becky Ogden. Later in her studies, she became the teacher's assistant for the prosthetic makeup class taught by Jeanine Eastham. After Completing her certificate for costume and makeup design as well as an Associates in Art with High Honors at Cypress Community College, she was accepted into and graduated from UCLA's school of Theater Film and Television Bachelors Theater Major with an emphasis in Costume Design with High Honors. While a student at UCLA she worked in the Costume shop as a stitcher under Paul Girard and Maggie Dick as well as taking a few freelance jobs on the side to pay for college.

She is currently working as a freelance contractor making and altering costumes in a variety of areas for music videos, samples for fashion brands, and various positions in film and theater.

When Shelby is not working on making costumes, she likes to spend her time restoring old industrial sewing machines, sculpting, cosplaying, and creating anything that catches her fancy.
